Escudero speaks at the 1st RP-Euro Confab

I am a proud member of the Ambassador Club of Manila and I hope that if the International Ambassadors Club, the Ambassadors Club of Manila, of Davao, Cebu, would urge the younger generation to join the club as well because the club cannot sustain itself if it cannot attract younger members of the society, members of the younger generation to whom we will pass the torch in the hope that they will continue burning, in the hope that they will continue to fight what we have been fighting for, in the hope that they will continue to provide a venue and see each other and be rich in conversation, learn from each other, and develop friendship across the seas.

It is my distinct honor and pleasure to talk to you this morning, share with you my thoughts and hopefully to be in a successful conference not only here but in other parts pf the country.

I sincerely welcome you to our country and hope that your stay here would be a pleasant one. Enjoy everyone. Again, have a pleasant morning to you all.
